    Butchery Office Co-ordinator

    Hours of Work: 30 hours per week
    Days of Work: 5 from 6 days, Sunday to Friday 4.00pm to 10.00pm
    Term: Permanent

    Pilgrim Foodservice Ltd are currently seeking a motivated and organised Office Co-Ordinator to join the growing team. As Office Co-ordinator you will play a key role in facilitating the smooth operation of our office environment, supporting various administrative functions and ensuring efficient communication and co-ordination within the company. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the overall organisation and productivity of the office through effective co-ordination and support.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Provide administrative support to various departments, including managing incoming calls and directing enquiries
    • Co-ordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies, fostering a positive and productive work environment
    • Manage office supplies and equipment, including procurement, inventory management and maintenance to support daily operations
    • Act as the point of contact for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment and errands to ensure smooth running of the office
    • Assist in the onboarding process for new employees including co-ordinating orientations, preparing workspace and providing general support during the initial integration
    • Assist in organising office events, gatherings and celebrations contributing to a positive and engaging workplace culture
    • Handle and contribute correspondence including sorting mail, managing deliveries and overseeing the office communication channels
    • Support the management team with various administrative staff such as data entry, report preparation and document management
    • Collaborate with other administrative staff to general office operations and provide backup assistance as needed

    The successful candidate will have:

    • Proven experience as an office co-ordinator, administrator or similar role with a strong understanding of office management procedures and basic accounting principles
    • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for details and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines
    • Strong communication skills including the ability to interact professionally with employees, clients and external vendors
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Word in particular) and office management software such as QMS & ERP systems or CRM tools
    • Ability to remain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information and communication
